How to use Soapnut Shells?
Soapnut Shells are easy to use! Put 4 half shells in the reusable drawstring cotton bag and pull strings tight. Place closed bag in the washing machine along with your laundry. This bag of Soapnut Shells will wash a full load of clothes. Soapnut Shells are low sudsing; they are effective with High Efficiency (HE) washers.
After washing with Soapnut Shells, clothes turn out clean, fresh, fragrance free and naturally soft. No need to add fabric softener! Remove the cotton bag from completed laundry and compost used shells or place them in garbage. Allow cotton bag to air dry before storing.
What is in the box?
17.64oz (500g) 100% USDA organic soapnut (Sapindus mukorossi) shells. This is enough soapnut shells to wash 100 loads of laundry.
2 unbleached reusable drawstrings cotton bags. Bags measure 3.5in x 4.5in and are not printed.
Why is the packaging eco-friendly?
The Soapnut Shells box is made with recycled, handmade paperboard that is biodegradable, compostable and printed with soy based inks.
Shells are packaged in biodegradable plastic bags. Each bio bag contains 8.82oz (250g) of shells.
