DESCRIPTION
The guidelines for a premium home theater installation
PROCEDURE
Installation Includes:
1. Prior to installation a description of work to be performed
2. Single room connection of current and new components, as allowable by the system source capacity.
3. Custom labor to wall-mount or flush-mount (in-wall) two (2) speakers in current room as allowable by home construction. Wiring to these speakers to be concealed in-wall, under carpet, floor penetration, etc. * Brackets are not included and must be purchased separately by customer prior to installation.
4. Secured wiring* and placement of up to 3 additional speakers on existing foundations. (*wiring is attached to floorboard and/or around door frames).
5. Cable management on new system.
6. Remote consolidation.
7. Bose Lifestyle systems require execution of the setup procedure using the 2 discs supplied with the system.
8. Perform Test Tone for proper speaker hook up.
9. Demonstrating switching between sound settings, if applicable. (Theater, Hall, Stadium, etc)
10. Explanation of work performed and additional instruction on:
10a. Turning the Home Theater System and all components on and off.
10b. Using the remote control
10c. Explanation of programming with remote codes
10d. Explanation of important buttons and features
10e. Explaining the different speaker settings
10bi. Stereo and Surround Sound
10bii. 3.1 and 5.1
10biii. Sub woofer
10f. AM/FM Radio
10g. DVD Player
10h. VCR
10i. CD Player
10j. Game Systems
10k. Switching between speaker A and B or external speaker switching if applicable
11. Answering the customers questions regarding the nature of the installation
12. Pick up debris after installation
13. Review completed installation and obtain written customer satisfaction check-off.
Installation Excludes
1. Assembly of furniture not included as part of an installation package.
2. allinstalled.com does not install/move electrical outlets under any circumstance. If an electrical outlet needs to be moved it will be the responsibility of the customer to seek professional installation of the outlet by a licensed professional at the customers expense.
3. Horizontally fishing wire through walls. (Through multiple stud bays)
4. In-wall speaker installations cannot be performed in rooms that are made with brick, concrete, block or other materials not easily penetrable using a standard drill bit.
POLICY
Items that may be connected to system include but are not limited to TV, VCR, DVD, DVR, Internet TV, video game unit, audio receiver, amplifier, CD player, audio tape deck, mini-disc player, and/or speakers.
